USB Interface

Using the USB Interface, you can connect several sensors to the PC by using one box for each sensor and if necessary, a USB hub.
Ophir basic smart sensor to USB interface for single channel turn your PC or laptop into a full fledged Ophir multi-channel laser power/energy meter. Just install the software, plug the sensor into the interface box and the USB cable from the box to the PC USB port.

The basic USB Interface operates with thermal, photodiode and pyroelectric sensors and needs no external power. Just plug the smart sensor into the USB Interface and run a USB cable from the Interface to your PC or Laptop and your computer becomes a full-fledged laser power/energy meter. ActiveX and complete LabVIEW support included.

Note: as of version 1.11, StarLab supports the USBI device

	PC Software & Drivers	This section describes various ways to interface the USBI to your PC as well as the software options available. You have StarLab software as well as Active X and LabView options. The section also describes software solutions for system integrators.

	LabView	VIs gives a complete measurement interface with Ophir's Nova, LaserStar (both single and dual-channel), USBI, Nova II and Vega.

	StarLab	The StarLab application together with the USB interface turns your PC or laptop into a full-fledged Ophir laser power/energy meter. Now supports all Ophir laser power/energy sensors. Up to 8 sensors can be displayed at once on one PC. By using the Ophir ActiveX control, you can control the USBI, Nova II, Vega and Pulsar-1/2/4 devices from your own application.
